Welcome to my website. I hold an online sale once a month in my online shop here. The date is announced via my Instagram and Facebook pages.

I predominantly make ceramic houses and shops which I raku fire. My houses are initially inspired by a street in my town of Saffron Walden called Castle Street. I also make trees and rainbows, bridges and ladders.

We have two dogs who seem to constantly need a walk and when you have small children it isn’t always easy to entice them out in all weathers…… So when my daughter was small we used to walk the dogs along Castle Street with its brightly coloured timber framed houses and impossible leanings. We would stroll along and make up stories about the people of Castle Street and what they were doing in their houses……..Then I began making houses in clay and telling the stories of the people who lived in them on my Instagram page…. @amandabanhamceramics

I have a degree in illustration which I combined with Ceramics from Cambridge School of Art and I believe the combination of these disciplines is key to my working practice.
